Muslims are seeing visions of Jesus.

Jesus is rejecting Islam as a way of life, and the way to heaven.

There is good news for Muslims and there is bad new for Islam.

The good news is that Jesus is coming to Muslims across the Muslim world in visions and dreams. In the middle of the night a brilliant light appears in the bedroom, a person in brilliant light appears and speaks to the Muslim, saying, “Follow Me.” They are mystified by this vision.

The dream may appear many times day after day until they begin to do something to discover its meaning. The person who has this vision or dream has a feeling of being loved, a sense of peace floods their lives, and they want to know more of this person.

This usually involves finding a follower of Jesus somewhere, or trying to find a Bible to understand the meaning of the dream. Jesus confirms the Bible as the Word of God which has not been corrupted according to Muslim propaganda.

The bad news for Muslim imams is that Jesus rejects Islam as a way of truth. Islam claims to be the way to God, but the appearance of Jesus means that Islam is a dead end street. There are thousands and thousands of people who have had dreams and visions and men and women are coming to Jesus. Even imams are having the dreams and coming to faith in Jesus.

Muslim countries have limited activities by the followers of Jesus, people have been thrown into prison, killed, persecuted, but no border can keep Jesus from coming into the Muslim culture and appearing to people.

When Jesus was here he made claims that are clearly a rejection of Islamic teaching. Islam said he was only a prophet. Jesus claimed to be the Son of God. He told his disciples, “Have faith in me when I say that the Father is one with me and that I am one with the Father. Or else have faith in me simply because of the things I do.” (John 14:11)

In these visions and dreams people are experiencing a being who is more than a mere prophet, or a mere man. Below are some samples of people experiencing dreams or visions of Jesus.

One woman, Noor, in talking about her vision, said, “Why would a prophet say that He died for me?” I have believed in Him and we Muslims respect Him.;...But He is much more than I thought He was. I have never been loved like I was when Jesus walked with me in that dream. I felt no fear....For the first time in my life, I felt no shame. Even though He’s a man, I was not intimidated. I didn’t feel threatened. I felt...perfect peace.” The vision also included a man who was to be contacted the next day for information she would need. The man in the vision had the shirt on that she identified the next day. (P.9)

The dream is a life changing event. One group of imams met together because each one had a dream about Jesus and “each of us has privately become a follower of Christ...We want you to teach us the Bible”, a request made to a known Christian man. (P21-22)

Even in Saudi Arabia there are people who have had visions of Jesus. One person said, “I went to the hajj to get close to Allah, but I kept having dreams about Jesus. Every night He would visit me. He told me to follow Him.” (45)

Aishe was in Mecca in a tent preparing for bed. “A Man in a gleaming white robe–something other than a dishdasha–stood over her. She glanced behind Him at the tent and saw that He had not cut an opening to get in. He raised a hand as if in greeting but also to calm her. No one else stirred.

“Light from the Man’s clothing seemed to flow into her body. Her first thought had been that some cleric had sought out her family–or more frightening, perhaps just her. Yet an unearthly warmth emanated from this Man. She instantly knew He loved her deeply. And in that instant, she also knew who He was. Jesus stood in her tent. He stepped backward and ducked as if stooping to exit the tent’s doorway. As He faded through the side, the girl glimpsed His eyes. Come with Me, they seemed to say.” A month later visiting a relative she discovered that she was also having dreams or visions of Jesus.(p.65) She came to faith in Jesus.

“I met a man yesterday who said he saw a Jesus dream and he didn’t know what to do with it, so he got deeper into his Muslim faith,” Doyle said. “Then he went to Mecca on the hajj, and on the first time around the Kabah, he saw a vision of Jesus standing in front of him.”

Ali was a brilliant student studying in Qom to be a Muslim scholar and had memorized most of the Qur’an. There was only one problem. Jesus met Ali and visited with him a half-dozen times. All kinds of questions came to his mind: “Why was this prophet appearing to him. What was the meaning of His message about salvation? Was Jesus something more than Ali’s lifelong faith in the teaching of Mohammad had led him to believe?” His questioning led him to remember that the Qur’an had spoken about Jesus but there was another book that had much to say about Jesus, it was the Bible. Getting a Bible in Qom was impossible, but he found one in Tehran. He read it thru for six years trying to find the errors as well as the message of the Bible.
“The Scriptures captivated his mind and soul, but even more wonderful was the two-way communication with Jesus in his dreams. Ali asked questions about what he was learning and Jesus answered. (P,90)

Jesus claimed to be the only way to heaven. "I am the way, the truth, and the life!" Jesus answered. "Without me, no one can go to the Father.” (John 14:6)

This is a rejection of Islamic ideas. Islam is not the way to heaven. Jesus is. Jesus came from heaven and he knows the way. More important is that He IS the Way. Knowing Jesus is the way, a relationship in which one accepts the gift of forgiveness and his gift of everlasting life in the presence of the Lord. Jesus claims Himself as the truth. What Mohammed proclaimed is false, misguided, and erroneous. If you have Jesus as Lord of your life you have the Truth. If you obey the Qur’an you live in falsehood, error, and deception. These are the words of Jesus, not human words. Moreover, if you have Jesus as Lord you really have life, not only now but everlasting life. These are the words of guarantee, not the uncertain hope of If Allah wills, maybe I will be in paradise, but most likely I won’t be.

Islam rejected this gracious gift of God for a way of works.

The holy Scriptures of the New Testament give a firm commitment to the Savior who died to save mankind. Islam rejected his death and resurrection.

Not only in the Scriptures but in the visions and dreams Muslims are having about Jesus today Islam is rejected as a way to heaven. It is like turning down a dead-end street, it is going no where. Jesus is working in the Muslim world and there is nothing that imams can do about it. In fact, many imams are coming to Jesus because of the dreams and visions.

When Jesus says “Follow me” there is the clear rejection of the Muslim model of imitating Mohammed. The Qur’an declares, “Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the Last Day, and remembereth Allah much.” (33.21, Pickthall)

The model of Mohammed has brought devastation to the life of young girls, wives, and women in general. Mohammed was 54 when he consummated a marriage with a nine-year-old girl. “As he is the “excellent example” of conduct, that is something that is considered normative, such that the Ayatollah Khomeini, when he took power in Iran, lowered the legal marriage age of girls to nine; when the aid workers went into the refugee camps in Afghanistan in 2003,they found that half the second-grade-age girls were already married and virtually all the girls older than that were already married.” (Spencer, Not peace but a sword, p. 208)

Muslim culture affirms the practice of female mutilation, marrying girls before they mature, secluding women at home, in mobile tents when they go out, and limiting their legal and inheritance rights, degrading them to half the intelligence of a man, requiring 4 witnesses for rape and punishing women who have been raped with either prison or stoning, as well as polygamy which no woman wants. In addition sex slavery is accepted as well as wife beating.

Moreover, Islam requires obedience without rational thought concerning whether these things are good or not. One is not allowed to ask the question of its goodness, rightness, or godliness.

When Jesus declares in visions and dreams to Muslims they are free of these terrible practices, people feel loved, forgiven, and at peace. They begin to seek the Bible or a Christian to find out what it means to follow Jesus.

The appearances of Jesus in the lives of Muslims is a direct condemnation of Mohammed. This means that Muslims have been deceived and mislead by Mohammed. Muslim hadiths paint a picture about Jesus that is quite contradictory to the claims of Jesus in the Gospels. Consider the following hadith:

Abu Huraira narrated that Prophet Mohammad said: "There is no prophet between me and him (Jesus Christ. He shall descend so, recognize him when you see him. He is a man of medium height, (his complexion) is between reddish and white; he will be between (or dressed in) two slightly yellowish garments; His head looks as if it is dripping water even though it is not wet. He will fight people in the cause (for the sake) of Islam, will break the Cross and kill the swine (pig) and abolish Jizya (tax on Christians and Jews); and Allah will put an end to all religious sects except Islam during his (Jesus') time. He (Jesus) will slay the Antichrist (Dajjal) and he will stay in the World for 40 years. Then, he will die and the Muslims will perform the funeral prayer for him." The implications of this hadith are interesting. Jesus is going to break the Cross, which means he is going to kill all the Christians since they are mislead because he is really a Muslim. The Jizya will be abolished since Christians and Jews will be no more. All religious sects except Islam will be destroyed. Then after 40 years he will die for the first time and Muslims will perform his funeral.

The people who dreamed up this hadith did not count on Jesus coming now to people in the Muslim world and telling them to Follow Him. The appearance of Jesus to Muslims affirms the story of the Bible about Jesus and his death on the cross. The appearances of Jesus repudiates the claim that Jesus is going to kill the Christians. Muslim background believers are willing to face persecution and even death because of his love for them. They have experienced real forgiveness for the first time in relation to God.

One word of encouragement for Muslim readers–take a new look at the Bible, it is still true, and it gives you the words of Jesus on how to follow Him.
